Anti-Bullying

What is Bullying and How Can We Prevent It?

Physical Bullying:

One person being physically hurt by or in physical contact of another, which can be detrimental to one's short term physical health and long term mental health.

Verbal Bullying:

Includes one being offended through another's teasing, name calling, intimidation, or homophobic or racist remarks. It also causes short term and long-term mental and emotional trauma to the victim 

Social Bullying:

Intended to harm the victim's social reputation and includes rumoring, mocking, humiliation, or exclusion

Cyber Bullying:

Intentional and Repeated harm through use of electronic devices and includes abusive messages, emails, social media posts, images; deliberate exclusion of someone; harmful gossip about someone; or imitation.


What YOU can do to stop bullying: 

  • Report any instances of Cyberbullying and Bullying to Authority.
  • Remind yourself that YOU DON'T deserved to be bullied
  • Keep in mind that there are always people who love you and who are willing to give you support when you need it!
